When I try to edit the contacts, I am logged off, but I am still connected to the other pages.
But I cannot do the editing.
How do I change the editing so it works
I am set by the admin to do editing of the contacts.

I was there, and done what you suggested, but the same message came up again.
It does not seem to know that I have the rights to enter data there.
The drop down menus are empty.

What browser and version are you running.?

I have tried both Firefox and MS IE. Both are the latest version. Both are totally cleared from old stuff.
I just tried Google Chrome as well. Also cleared.
As soon as I hit the link to: Email & Contact Forms I get the error message logging me out.

You were already logged out. The message is just a notification that you are logged out. The message does not log you out. Your browser actually is only connected to the server when it needs to fetch a webpage or transfer data to/from the server. (It is an intermittent connection, which is normal.) Because of this, your login status is only checked by the server when you save something or fetch information from the server.

It is very likely that we are unable save a cookie on your computer that remembers your login status because your cookie settings do not allow us to do that. The vast majority of the time, logout issues are related to cookie settings. This is an issue that you must resolve with your browser settings on your computer. We have docs on that, but we cannot change those settings for you.

I am not logged out of the other connections! All the links below 'Members only' are still underlined AND accessible!
Only the line that reads: Email & Contact Forms is locked out, yet it is underlined, which means I am still logged in.

I always allow cookies on all of my browsers, because my Internet Banking requires cookies, and that works on all three browsers.
I have my cookie settings exactly as per your documentation. (support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/i...orer-cookie-settings), which Brian sent me earlier. (I have attached a screen shot of my settings, as well of my login, and my permissions.)

My take on this is that if the site had recognized me as 'permitted', it would have let me continue, but because it does not see my permissions, it stopped me. The admin had set me up for access to the contact page.

Can you confirm that if officers who are delegated by the Admin to access certain sections for editing, then they can do editing from the pertaining links listed below 'Members only'.? Or is there another way to effect editing by assignees?

I can login from the same browsers on the same computer as ADMIN and have no problem!!!

I can reproduce the error you are getting. You are right, you should be able to edit this having been given access.

I have advised our developer - he is rather tied up at the moment but will get to it when he has an opportunity. If it is an urgent issue please ask your admin to make any changes to the email and contacts until the error has been fixed. Thanks.
