Hi,

This is Mohamed Nabil website admin for Cairo toastmaster website. We configured our website using your host service, it is at 3145274.toastmastersclubs.org

my questions are:
1- Can you configure another readable domain name instead of 3145274.toastmastersclubs.org. may be www.cairotoastmasters.org?
2- Can we create emails for our members? so they can use it for engaging people to come to our club e.g This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

or we have to purchase a new domain and hosting plan?

let us know what do you think.

Thanks
Mohamed

You have a couple of alternatives available to using the club number version of your website address...

1. Website Alias... free, via a system setting. For example: cairo.toastmastersclubs.org ... the "cairo" would be the website alias. This is a simple free approach that never expires (unlike a custom domain) but this cannot be used with emails.

2. Custom Domain Name. You can purchase a registered custom domain name on your own through any of the available online registrars, then link it to your website. The configuration process to link it is a bit complicated (we have documentation to describe the process), but when you are done, you will have a website address that is very distinct and can be used with emails. For example: www.cairotm.org and This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. (just examples) The main downsides are that you have to pay someone for the registration (not us), it is a bit more complicated, and your registration will expire at some point, maybe when someone else is the admin.

3. Email... FreeToastHost creates a number of forwarding email addresses, distribution lists, and email aliases for your members' convenience. These are *not* email accounts... there is no storage for these addresses, and you cannot send from them. You can only send emails to these addresses, as they are linked to your members real email addresses entered in Membership Management.
