They don't work for me any more. I've done them for two years and now I can't get a template to work. How do I create an agenda with an existing template (the first one on our list, identifying 4 speakers, is our preferred). What am I missing? I choose it but it has no roles at all.

Thanks!
Cheers!

Your template is empty... nothing in it. You can probably re-create it from a recent agenda.

I use a 'complete' agenda and when I 'save' it to fill it out, I lose the detail. What am I missing? What are the steps to use a complete agenda and assign it a particular meeting date?
Cheers!

I'm not sure what detail you are losing.

You can create a dated agenda from a template (which can be a template stored in the Agenda Settings module or a previous agenda).
To make a dated agenda select the Meeting Agendas item on the menu, click on the Plus sign icon, enter the required date on the agenda setup tab and select the required template. Save, then go to the meeting agenda items tab to edit or assign roles.

To create a named template from a dated agenda, select the agenda, select the pencil icon, go to the agenda setup tab and save the agenda item as a template. You can choose to add a new template or overwrite an existing template

Our club has the same issue. Our template #1 name still exists but roles are empty; templates #2 - #4 still work correctly. Neither me (Admin) nor VPE deleted them. The last time it worked correctly was early Dec when VPE generated January's schedule.

Another similar thread:
support.toastmastersclubs.org/5-support-...genda-building#59524

Also, I don't get option to 'Save as Template button (arrowed)' to rebuild our Template #1 as shown here:
support.toastmastersclubs.org/component/...tem/agenda-templates

I'm using Firefox 50 on Win 10 PC, same issue with IE 11.

As of now, our only option appears to be manually rebuild.

Neither me (Admin) nor VPE deleted them

Your President and Secretary also have access rights to agenda settings on your website. Someone probably accidently saved a new / empty agenda overwriting your Template 1

To rebuild the template are you selecting a dated agenda? The process is to choose an appropriate dated agenda (not template), click the edit icon, go into the agenda setup tab. That is where you should see the "Save as Template" button. (I see it with Windows 10 IE11). Save the agenda with a name to make your new template. Once saved, go to the Meeting Agenda Settings and select the new named template for editing. You can now select the template as a base for future agendas.

Thanks for your quick reply. I'm also the President, so I'll check with Sec'y.

My mistake. I now see that 'Agenda Setup' screens function differently between 'Creating New Meeting Agenda' and 'Editing Meeting Agenda'. These seem backwards to me because I'm trying to create a new template agenda instead of editing an existing one.

Regardless, we're back up and running. Feel free to close thread.
