Hi there,

We have been unable to get our contact email address, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., to work. We have received many reports from guests that they have been unable to contact us with this address. Is it possible to investigate the issue and fix it? It would be very useful to have an email address to put on our brochures and Facebook.

Hi, thanks for this and we know how to enable the email. The problem is, when I enable it and send a test email, it seems to go through fine for me. But we continually get visitors saying that they get error messages when they try to use it. Is there any reason you can think of why this might be so? Of course, we might have mistyped it, and we do check for that. Is it possible that an outgoing email can be stopped by their provider?? It seems odd to me.

Are they using the contact-us form, or have you published the This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. email address?


Can you find out what the error message says?

Typos, as you've mentioned, would cause an email fail. If they use BCC the message won't go through. I see a few of those in the logs, but they seem to be spam messages.

Ok, I looked into this and I sent you a test email. I thought it may be related to non-members, but my email went through just fine.

I did see where you were having issues in the past, 7/17/2017 is the most recent date of that. Did you enable the contact address around then?

Also, some of the non-members are using the wrong address, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., which will not work for the contact address.

You have to make sure people are using the correct address... it is not arbitrary.
