Hey there
I am trying to get a Free ToastHost, however, our members are not receiving any emails that go through Toastmasters. eg: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Therefore, I cannot get a free toast host.

Well, use Club Central to enter an email address that you can get emails from, then request a FreeToastHost website.

i was just using that as an Eg, I can't remember the actual email address it gave me

Sorry, this is my first time using this, as I am a new VPPR, been in Toastmasters for only 6 months, therefore, I do not know my way around this at all.
I googled club central and I do not know what you mean, do you mean www.toastmasters.org/?


no one is the club is getting any of these emails. all emails have been double checked to make sure they are all correct.

this is the message I get when I try to sign us up.


"Thank you. The confirmation link has been sent to those listed as club contacts ( This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. ). You will be notified once one of the contacts confirms or denies the request.
NOTE: If the e-mail address(es) that were sent the authorizations (see above) are no longer valid, you MUST update your club contact information with Toastmasters International, then once the new club contact e-mail address has been updated, apply for your FTH 2 website again."

so I think I found what you are meaning, I changed the address to mine, and still, it is sending it to this random This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to which I have no idea where it goes or if it goes anywhere.

Club Central is the club officer area of www.toastmasters.org You can update your club contact email address there... we use that email address for approvals of new website requests as it is a known, established email address modifiable only by club officers of each club. You can see how to modify it via this doc: support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/u...s-international-site

The Club Contact email address is the email address that shows up in the bottom left corner of your screen when you hover your mouse over the blue Email the Club button on the Find a Club page for your club: www.toastmasters.org/Find-a-Club/00003796-00003796 If you look there, you should see the email address that our system sent the approval email to.

If you entered the new club website request, and the approval email went to an email address that is not accessible to you, then we can cancel the request, you can update the club contact email address via Club Central (using the directions in the above doc) and resubmit the request for a website. We do it this way to ensure that a verified officer of the club approves the website request.

Do you want us to cancel the pending request so that you can update the email address and resubmit the request?

BTW, your club needs to keep the club contact email address current for your club. I realize that clubs in Australia and New Zealand may have alternative ways of tracking club contacts, but the FreeToastHost system uses the Club Contact email address on the Find a Club page for several things, so you will need to make sure it is current moving forward.

When I look at the Find a Club page: www.toastmasters.org/Find-a-Club/00003796-00003796

It still shows the email address that you say you cannot access... hover your mouse over the blue Email the Club button look at the bottom left.

You need to update the email address using the doc I cited above.

I canceled the 3 pending requests.

Focus on getting the email address corrected that shows on the Find a Club page. As I noted, you will need to keep that current moving forward, anyway.

I have been to club central and changed the address from that president one to mine.

however, it still sent the request to that president one. so I changed it back because my email address does not look Toastmastery

The changes on Club Central usually take about a day to be updated and reflected on the corresponding Find a Club page. You really should just change the email address to your email and give a it a day to be updated.... you can check on the Find a Club page for your club to determine when the change was made then do the request again.

"my email address does not look Toastmastery" ... really does not matter.
