I got the attached screenshot of an email that looks like it came from the server. I'm the VPM and listed in the contact us page. Would it help to include the page source data?

If you use the "Is this SPAM?" links click that to add the sender to the black list.

If not, click reply but do not send ... to see who the reply to is. Add that address to your club blacklist.

Looked through Gmail's settings and couldn't find the switch. I've seen it though, perhaps on my iPad. Anyways I put her email address in the blacklist.

Look for "Is this SPAM" in the following doc: support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/email-and-contact-forms

Brilliant. P. S. The Is this SPAM button was already checked, but it doesn't appear on the email. Could Gmail strip it out?

While perusing the page I learned how to create a custom email group. Took a little trial and error, but again brilliant. Referring me to the support page reminded me to look there before posting a feature related question.

Thanks

Was the email sent to the vpm email address?

The "Is this SPAM?" links are only inserted in emails to the publicly available email addresses. (The others are presumed to be from members thus not spam.)

I just did a fake send w/ trace information to your vpm address. This logs all email list server decisions and runs through the motions but does not actually do a send. Everything looks fine... the Is this SPAM link was inserted in what would be the actual email sent and all looks good to me.

I am wondering if you are running into the way that Gmail collapses certain email sections on emails received.... Look for a ... (three dots) in the email recieved... click those dots... the Is this SPAM? link is at the very bottom and sometimes Gmail will collapse it.

Ever had one of those challenges that when you find the solution you feel humbled by the simplicity of the answer?

There is a huge amount of white space between the message end and the FTH Is this SPAM? links. Although I had already added her to the black list, I followed your logic through the link and loved that you gave one final are you sure option. Clicking the Yes response added a second version of the same email. I deleted the second one.

Consider me humbled.

If it makes you feel any better, consider that the white space may not be an accident. (We do not add that white space.) The spammer may have added that white space to put the "Is this SPAM?" link out of your view. We put the unsubscribe links at the top of emails these days so that they do not get missed... perhaps the "Is this SPAM?" link should be at the top, also.
