Hi there,

I read the docs re images and followed it I hope. But 1) I can't get my image centered with the text under it. 2) When I look at the website on m iPhone the image is distorted (very long).

To center the image: Add some dummy text above and below the image, highlight all of that text and center the text. After that you can remove the unwanted text.

To change the image size: Right click on image properties, unlock the padlock next to width and height, remove the value in height and set the width to a percentage, e.g. 50%. That should make it the same relative size on all devices. More here: support.toastmastersclubs.org/2011-10-23...obile-friendly#70250

Hi Pam,

I followed your instructions but it still doesn't look right on my iPhone. Can you take a look at our site
oregoncommunicators.toastmastersclubs.org/ on the desktop and on your phone and let me know what you think? It did center better but the top half isn't really centered. I did the % too. On the phone the photo is really small but it's not distorted like it was before. It wraps all the text beneath the photo.

Thank you.

Mary,

I took a look. You have a 120 pixel margin in part of your content. I think that is the issue you are seeing.

Also, you can actually see what this will look like on an iPhone without having to use an iPhone. Most desktop browsers can simulate a phone screen these days.

Easiest fix is to use the remove formatting icon in the editor... Look for the blue HTML icon with the red minus on it that is located just to the right of the subscript icon. That will remove the formatting including the margin. You will need to re-center everything, but it will still be the simplest fix.

You are a rock star! Looks much better and I did some text editing so lines didn't wrap.
Yippee - thanks much :)
