The site admin user and password are not the same as your member user and password.

Dear Brian,

Apparently when I first created our website a long time ago I used our club number as our user name. I changed my password to match my club info but I could not change the user name to match. I am asking for further assistance to resolve this mater please. I still cannot log in.

With respect,

Donna Spencer

Donna, there is no "admin username", per se, just your club number and admin password. We always require that you enter your club number and admin password for admin logins, but the club number is always just your actual club number, not a "username". However, anyone can find your club number online, so the admin password is really what matters. The club number entry is really a "legacy" part of the admin login, since the system actually determines the club number as soon as you access the website (regardless of login status).

Dear Steve and Brian,
I appreciate your responses. I have done everything that I can think of to correct the problem myself. My password matches the one that I use to log in to the member side. I can get into the member side but I cannot get into the admin side. I need access as I am the admin of record. What is my next step?

Respectfully requesting assistance,

Norma Mladineo was our past EVP and was acting as administrator. Is she still listed as administrator. If so how do we do a change over. At one point after my initial request for help three weeks ago I thought we had the issue resolved.

I am the system code developer. I have recently added a monitoring log to support us figuring out login/logout related issues.

The thing is that I also now track (via the log) when the Forgot Password Link has been clicked in the Admin Login dialog... I can see that in addition to failed login attempts, the Forgot Password Link has not been clicked during this time.

This link is in the Admin Login dialog and is specifically there for this situation--please get familiar with the tools that are provided for you in the system. Please click that link in that dialog and you will get an email at your registered admin email address with an access link in it. Once you click the link and are logged in that way, make sure that you visit the Administrator Information tab in the Admin Console and reset the password as you choose. (make sure you save the change)

Dear Steve,

I did as you instructed and clicked on the forgot login link. I did it twice 15 minutes apart. I have not received any emails from FTH. The instruction said I should receive it right away.

Thank you for responding to my request for help and am looking forward to learning more about how to solve this issue.

The emails were sent and received by comcast. Please check your spam folder for them. The subject of the emails is a bit "nondescript", but they were sent. Our log information is below.

Dear Steve,
The emails were not in my spam folder. Can you reset my password to 1944donna for me? My phone number is 941-321-8961 if you need to talk about it.

Thanks,

We do not set passwords for people. Besides, you just posted it in a public forum. As we are volunteers, we do not do phone support.

If you cannot receive emails from the system via your comcast account, you are going to have other issues moving forward. You need to talk to comcast and figure out what they are doing with the emails. I have confirmed that we sent the emails and comcast received them.

If you have an overly aggressive spam filter, there is not anything we can do about that once we confirm that we have delivered the emails.

You may need to whitelist the server email address w/ your comcast account.

Dear Steve,
Thank you for your patience and assistance with this matter. I was finally able to resolve the problem by talking to a representative of Xfinity. They helped me with the settings that manage the spam messages. I was finally able to see the server email in the spam folder and could unmark it as spam. I also put the server email address in my address book. Hopefully this has resolved the problem.
My best,
Donna Spencer
