I'm wondering if there is a way to allow members to update a file located in the file cabinet?

Example - we want to keep an ongoing list of meeting award recipients, thus we would like a file (word or excel likely) that a member (probably an officer) could simply update in place after each meeting ?

Is there any such feature ?

Your easiest solution would be to create a custom page for your awards. support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/custom-pages
That can be edited by up to 3 officers and your club admin.

Files loaded on FTH cannot be updated in place.

Just use a table in a custom page like Pam is pointing to.
