New member was added somehow to Prospects tab. Their name has a strikethrough it -- pending opt-in? We can't move it to the Members list or any other list. We can't delete the entry and start again. Any ideas? Can a Prospect receive opt-in emails? Do we get them to accept terms and conditions (so the strikethrough is removed), then remove them? Please advise.

If they are now a member, it will likely be simpler to just delete them from Prospects and re-add them to the Members list.

They will still need to do the opt-in for the Members list (via the emailed link), but at least you will not need to wait on them to find the opt-in email for the Prospects list prior to moving them to the Members list.

Once you add them back to the Members list (after deleting them from Prospects), they should get a fresh opt-in email.

Thank you for the quick reply! How do we delete him from the Prospects list? The system will not allow us to do that. I tried deleting and starting from scratch, but I could not do it. It is as if the person is not really there. However, when I tried to add him as a member, it would not allow me because he was other there. Catch 22.

I went into the Prospects list and changed the name to "test" and deleted all other information. The system then allowed me to reenter him as a member. You may want to check it out for future improvements, maybe? Many thanks.

please read the documentation on membership management. The delete option is in the pull down.
