I am site admin for Cherry Creek Toastmasters club 2977 and was responding to a member who could not download a file on our Member Download page.
I told her I would do it and send to her.
when I select the pdf file and choose Download, it acts as though it is downloading the file. However it does not appear in my download folder on either my MacBook Pro or my iPad. I have logged out, then back in. I have shut down the browser tab. I have rebooted my computer. I have logged in as both Member and as Site Admin.
Nothing works. Site seems to be broken?

You can try switching a file address from download to inline and see how that behaves. If you want to try a different file than the one below, you can change action=download to action=inline for any file.

Your issue with some file working and others not working may have been from the illegal folder and file name you had in your list. Are you sure your safari is up to date at a current release?
