I have provided examples from 3 clubs below from 3 different members that received INVALID messages about removing them from the member lists.
I am pro-actively looking for the tool to disabling the "not a member" links as suggested in the email body.
Members would like to know WHY this happened. Thanks.

Hello,

A "Not a Member" link was clicked in an email to request that Venus Wilmer, DTM be moved to Former Member status in the website for club 28675724, Toast & Jam!.

If you clicked that link, then please also click the following link to confirm that your status should really be changed to Former Member status in the website:
28675724.toastmastersclubs.org/?action=N...3&_=gCbu&confirmed=Y

If you did not click that link, then please just ignore or delete this email.
(You may also want to discuss disabling the "Not a Member" links with your club website admin or discourage your members from forwarding emails.)

Note that this only affects your status in the club 28675724 website.  It does *not* affect your status with Toastmasters International--that is separate and different.

>>> We apologize for requiring this extra step--it has become necessary due to problems caused by people clicking the "Not a Member" link in emails forwarded to them (not originally sent to them).

Thank you for all that you have accomplished in Toastmasters and all that you have contributed to your club!

venuswilmer post=91561 userid=23905I am pro-actively looking for the tool to disabling the "not a member" links as suggested in the email body.

support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/reducing-spam

An email was forwarded with the "No longer a member" or "Is this spam" links and the non-member recipient has clicked on it.
A bookmark was saved with the "not a member" stuff in it.

When this occurs the club site admin panel will contain a message so the club can review the event and move them back to the members list if necessary.
