Yes. See support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/a...whats-the-difference
support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/website-alias

Also other links at support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc

Aliases are quick and simple to change. Domain names are more complicated.

our club name is 'Babylon babblers'. you have any suggestions on changing it from the existing one with our club # to something else but still keeping on the toasthost? I was unclear of the documentation I read.

It depends partly on what's used by other clubs in the area. If yours is the only one with "babylon" in its name, you could put "babylon" in the alias box. That would give you "babylon.toastmastersclubs.org"

Otherwise, maybe "babylonb"? It might be worth checking if other members/officers have definite ideas.

I cant use babylonbabblers.toastmasters.org?

Yes. It's entirely a matter of personal taste and is up to you.

The main thing is to avoid something that's too long. (I'm thinking of something like "babylonbabblerstoastmasters.toastmastersclubs.org" here.)

When you make the switch, you may need to log back in. (The change invalidates your login.)

Remember, you can always access your website via using your club number.

I agree: 'babylonbabblerstoastmasters.toastmasters.org' is too long. I probably didn't express myself clearly enough.

I didn't read closely enough.

You can't have a name ending in "toastmasters.org"

It has to be "toastmastersclubs.org"

That piece is automatic, anyway. Whatever you put in the alias box is added on in front of ".toastmastersclubs.org"

You already did in the admin section, by renaming the site. That is you website, instead of your club number. If you want something other than Toastmasters.toastmasters.org, then you need to buy a domain.
