Hello.

I will really appreciate it if you can evaluate our club (# 3192) 's website (pallisertoastmasters.org/). We have been hit hard by the pandemia in terms of attendance but we are decided to move forward, and improving our site is part of that strategy. Appreciate you hosting our site for so many years !!!

Thank you !!!

Well, you’re off to a good start!  You also seem to have a lot of website hits, so people are visiting your homepage regularly.  With a few tweaks you can get the site more current. You say that you’ll be meeting online from 25 March.  My guess is that you have been meeting online since 25 March (2020 or 2021)  Perhaps reword “From March 25th going forward we are going to meet virtually via Zoom” to:
  • “We are currently meeting virtually via Zoom”  (if you intend to go back to face to face meetings and would prefer only local members), or
  • “We meet virtually via Zoom”  if you have become an online only club and will accept members from outside of your area  If that is the case, say so. “As our meetings are held online, we accept members from all over the world…..”
I’m one of those people who looks at pictures on a webpage.  Do you have a ‘happy’ picture of your group?  If you meet online, it would be best to use an online meeting image.  If your group looks too small, use one of the TI stock images until you have a decent number of people for a more realistic group picture. Some of your custom pages are out of date or give an Error 404 message.  Delete them.  You can add new custom content when you’re ready.Your public downloads page has a personal touch in that it has some newsletters.  It would be even better if you added some more recent newsletters.  You might also want to make some of the system provided “General Info” files public for visitors to browse.Using one of the provided background wallpaper images could create some interest.  Other than that, I’d suggest browsing some other club sites for ideas. Look to the documentation here if you need any help on how to use the system to its fullest advantages: support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc Best of luck with your endeavors
