Some people like to hear about everything; others prefer the minimum.

The minimum will be what you need to know, which will depend partly on your role in the club. Officers will need to receive more than ordinary members do.

Main settings

To choose which emails you will receive, go to your Profile, check the relevant boxes and save. That's all.

More advanced settings

If you are an officer, there's a setting for turning off creation of an officer alias. (Circled above) An officer alias is an email address of the type "president-1234456@ toastmastersclubs.org which is publicly accessible. If you don't have any pressing privacy concerns, we suggest that you leave this box empty.

"Agenda signup mailto" (see arrow) when checked, allows you to sign up to roles via email. If this is checked, clicking on a link in an emailed agenda opens your email client with a response email ready to send. Send it without making any changes.

Make sure that you are sending from an email address that is in your member profile, or it will be rejected by the server.
