As I suspected, this was an image issue in the home page content (not really JavaScript related)--I ditched the bogus image reference for you. The funny icon that was showing on the left is used by browsers as a placeholder to indicate an image that cannot be retrieved.

The TxDOT Toastmasters club formed in April 1993 to serve the needs of employees of the Texas Department of Transportation in Austin, Texas. However, our membership is open to all. Currently, about a third of our members come from outside of the department and our membership is diverse in background and interests. Come check us out!</p>
