Migrating to FTH4

Your club admin received the instructions to update their admin password to access FTH4. (FTH3 admin passwords will NOT work in FTH4). Follow the instructions in the email and use 'Member sign in' in the top right corner to access the Club Admin account.

If you are not sure who the club admin is, in your member account; look at 'Club Officers and Members' > "Club Email addresses". The LAST item in this list is the person who is currently listed as your club admin.

If this is not correct, please complete and submit this form to change your club admin:

Other content append to page

Hello,
I was looking at our club home ranchraconteurs.toastmastersclubs.org/page and I noticed some strange contents added to the bottom of the page. Attached are screenshot of what I see. If I open the page on the editor, I don't see any of these content. I would appreciate if you could let me know what is causing this this weird content to be added.

Thanks,
Sarika

I've added a final </div> to the html which seems to have fixed the problem.

It has seems to have come back again. After your fix, I had verified it had gone away. Is this caused by a user error? It doesn't look like like it. Only change to page seems to be VPPR adding 2 pictures every week after the meeting. Please let me know.

Yes who ever is updating your site is not doing it correctly. Please instruct them on the proper way to update the site and have them read the documentation. For every open tag there must be a close tag.

The home page of your site is not intended to be a picture gallery, you will soon hit the max size of the page.

The VPPR is not writing HTML code. She is basically using the system editor which should put begin and end tags automatically. Is the editor broken? She doesn't know or understand HTML.

The other question I have is, if the home page does not have picture gallery how do you attract new members to the club? All our new members, for the last two year, have come because of the pictures. We don't have great writers to do a blog. So this our way to share our meeting view because pictures speak louder than words. Are you suggesting we delete some of the older pictures? That can be definitely done.

Having a few new and current images on your home page with text describing the activity is great. Your club just has too many. You can create additional pages to host the older pictures.

Having too much different content on one page makes it more difficult to ensure all the tags are complete.
