Slack app - integration

Hi!,

Have you folks heard of Slack? We are beginning to integrate it for our club communications and collaboration this year. It is quite an improvement over email. A user friendly interface that has many app plugins, including video conferencing (Zoom, gmail, calendar) etc for easy of use and single pane of glass.

If you check it out, I think a FTH plugin for Slack could be huge . The functions you provide for meeting agenda and role sign up are amazing! If we integrate with the collaborative portion for all toastmasters of the club it could bring even more people into using your tools.

Sorry we do not develop ant third party plugins.

Hi Brian,

I am aware that we don't provide 3rd party plugin,

I am writing to check if Toastmaster can provide the basic endpoints / interface for


1. user authentication
2. get meeting info
3. sign up roles

With those interface, it will be easier for each club to develop their own 3rd party plugin


Otherwise, there is a hacky solution to achieve the same goal using headless server.

There are no external interfaces, nor will there be, we cannot control external privacy use.
We are not Toastmasters International and have no access to their information and they have no access to the FTH information.
