1 For some reason text formatting (font size and colour, bold, etc.) do not seem to work intuitively. When I am adjusting the header for an agenda, I can not get the font colour to change.
2 When I am logged on as the Site Admin and I am editing an agenda to add people to roles, the drop-down to pick a name from our membership closes when I try to use the mouse to select a name. I have to use my up and down cursor arrows to get the name picked.
3 When we create an item on the agenda, we can not modify the name once it is created (i.e. to correct a typo). We have to delete it and re-create it.
4 When I am logged on as the Site Admin I can never seem to find a place that lists the email addresses of all the members individually.
5 I also seem to be having issues creating a second template agenda (one for contests) in that it says it will replace our default (which I definitely do not want to do) instead of allowing me to create a brand new (second) template.

We always request a club number so that we can investigate further--please provide. Also, please see my comments below. I am the current system developer.
We do support IE8, but it is a bit problematic in some areas. There are some stylistic aspects of the website design that IE8 will just not produce. A specific example is that all tabs have rounded corners by design, but IE8 will not produce rounded corners, so tabs in IE8 all have square corners. If there is ever a chance to update to a newer browser, I would recommend it.EwanTrafford wrote: The Club president here uses ie8, which is what installed on her work computers.
You can end up with this situation if you have repeatedly edited something and continuously changed the formatting. Editing HTML is not like using a word processor. You can end up with formatting problems if you keep making changes without clearing out the old stuff. What you have to do periodically is to basically clear out the formatting codes in the HTML. You can use the Remove Format icon in the upper right-hand corner of the editor icons to clear out formatting so you can start fresh. Frequently, I find that clearing the formatting and reapplying the desired formatting will fix formatting issues.EwanTrafford wrote: 1 For some reason text formatting (font size and colour, bold, etc.) do not seem to work intuitively. Cannot say what is going on here... need club # to investigate.EwanTrafford wrote: 2 When I am logged on as the Site Admin and I am editing an agenda to add people to roles, the drop-down to pick a name from our membership closes when I try to use the mouse to select a name. This is a design limitation that a prior developer put in the system. I do not like it either, but as I am a volunteer, it will be a while until I can free up some of my spare time to address it.EwanTrafford wrote: 3 When we create an item on the agenda, we can not modify the name once it is created (i.e. to correct a typo). Any admin can get that information from Membership Management in the Admin Console.EwanTrafford wrote: 4 When I am logged on as the Site Admin I can never seem to find a place that lists the email addresses of all the members individually.
This is a bit vague since templates can be created from the agenda edit dialog or from the agenda settings and templates dialog in the admin console. You can definitely create multiple templates and it is very easy from the admin console. However, I would need more details on where the person is trying to create a template from to advise further.EwanTrafford wrote: 5 I also seem to be having issues creating a second template agenda (one for contests) in that it says it will replace our default (which I definitely do not want to do) instead of allowing me to create a brand new (second) template.
