Are you using table-layout: fixed so that the browser does not tinker with your layout?

By default, the browser will auto adjust table column widths to fit what it deems to be the available space. If you use table-layout fixed, it only looks at the first row in the table.

Right click on your table, and see if there is an advanced tab... In the Style box, put table-layout:fixed
(***Not*** in the Stylesheet Classes box... that is different.)

There was an advanced tab under table properties. I added "table-layout:fixed" as you instructed. Hopefully, that will keep things in order.

Thank you, Steve and Brian......again! You are my today heroes!
