Lewis I use Firefox on my MAC and have no issues.

It's pretty weird, but it worked on Firefox. I was using Safari with no problem before. Firefox it is! Much thanks to everyone for the useful immediate feedback.

Make sure you haven't inadvertently turned Private Browsing on in Safari. That will prevent the admin console from launching (it is similar to cookies not being allowed)
