If you are the admin and clicked on the "did you forget your password" link, you should have received an email with a link. Click on the link and then follow the instructions in the email to reset your password.
If you are not the admin and only need access to certain areas, the admin should be able to give you permission to access those areas. You will then have additional items show on your menu when you are logged in as member. That is preferable to sharing the admin password.
If you are not the admin but you have been given full admin access and the admin has given you the password, check with him/her that it is correct. Also make sure that you do not have your Caps Lock on - the password is case sensitive. If that doesn't work the admin should test it. He/she might have to reset the password.
