We are just setting up FTH and will be pointing our existing club domain name to it. I am not clear how we can manage email addresses associated with our domain. I can see that the FTH addresses are directed to the proper officer and then sent to the first email address in the profile. How can we possibly disable the FTH addressess and use our current domain instead?
I have looked through the email module, but not finding a clear answer there.
E.g president@ourdomain.com > bob@gmail.com

Please follow the directions for pointing a custom domain at FTH the instructions include how to change the email MX records so you can use the officer positions to their personal email addresses.

I have read through the instructions and understand how to point our domain, including mx records to FTH. What I am not clear on is how and where I can associate the new domain email addresess to send to the proper recipient.

Email and officer role assignments are done in the members area of the admin console.

I have read the docs on that as well and understand how to associate "current assigned" addresses to officers via the link you posted. What I do not understand is how/where I can change the built in addresses to our current domain.
For example, in our new FTH setup we have been assigned a number of addresses in this format:
president-####@toastmastersclubs.org. We would like to use our current domain, instead: president@ourdomain.com
How can we accomplish this?

When you set up your custom domain it all happens automatically.
the email president-####@toastmastersclubs.org changes to president@your.domain
the email president-####@toastmastersclubs.org changes to president@your.domain
