Bulk Changes to Roles in Agendas

I've incorporated the changes into the template - it's the past data I want to clean up. Here's an example of what I'm trying to fix:
Toastmaster (CL 4, 5, 7, 8, 10)
Toastmaster Welcome and Introductions
Toastmaster Present Award(s)
Toastmaster Closes Meeting
By adding the asterisks before and after *Toastmaster*, I'll only see one instance of Toastmaster for each meeting. Right now I have as many as four. Yech! However, since the template does not retrofit, I'm looking for a faster way to scrub the data - if one exists.
Eventually, I'd like to get out of this role and I want to make sure this is an easy handoff to someone who's not a much a data geek as I am myself.

The only way to not see so many is to not add so many or to delete the extra... As far as what I am understanding of this right now you can fix it so that no one else can sign up for the duplicate role in the admin section.
