agenda buttons_2

Hello, I have been having this same problem. It was first noticed in April of this year and is ongoing. I can see the icons on the agenda's button bars only when I am using my personal PC to access my club's website agenda. However, if I use my government-owned laptop (which I often do since I spend the vast majority of my time at work), then I cannot see the icons on the button bars. I have already requested help from the IT Helpdesk at my agency. We agreed that the problem was likely caused by a crackdown on Internet permissions by my agency this year (I had been able to see the icons last year). Some loosening of those restrictions were made, but they did not seem to have any effect. I was warned that even though the website development team at work will continue to explore this issue, for security reasons no further changes could be promised.

Right now, from my work PC, I can only see text on the agenda button bars, but not icons. This has been hampering a full rollout of the agenda feature to my club since most members are federal employees.

Question for the website developer(s): It's unlikely that I and my club members are the only federal employees having this problem. Would it be possible to replace all the icons on the agenda button bars with text in the near future? Thanks,

Melonie

I have moved your post to its own thread so that the other member will not be receiving replies intended for you.

Your browser settings need to be set to allow you to download and use fonts. The icons are a font. Your browser is likely blocking font downloads on your government laptop.

Thanks for your response. We don't have control over browser settings (part of the federal Internet restrictions I mentioned before).

Please do me a favor. Click the reload link at the bottom of your screen.

If you are really not loading the icon font, that should be getting detected, and you should see the following pop-up:
(Do you see it?)

If you do not see the pop-up, then please post screen captures of your agenda icons, and of your login buttons. (they use icons also)

Thanks very much for continuing to explore this issue. I reloaded the website from the server a couple times, but nothing changed. No, I didn't get a pop-up window concerning the icon font (interesting). I uploaded screen shots of the agenda and login buttons that I see as a member (2 pages) vs. as an admin (3 pages). I also uploaded a snippet of what I see when I try to change my IE settings to download fonts. There must be a difference between the image icons vs. the text icons on the buttons. I can see the text OK.
