I have used the official FTH email address for club members from both Outlook and Gmail successfully many times. I have used the one for club officers from both of them often as well. I even sent one to the club President. Today I tried to use the address for the VP Education and received rejection messages back that said:

You do not have the right permissions to send an e-mail to this e-mail address (vped-1293730@toastmastersclubs.org) from sguenthe@gmail.com . Be sure your "From" address in your e-mail client is the same as your address in your ToastmastersClubs.org member profile.

Please note: We do not support the use of BCC. If you are sending to an email address on this server using BCC please re-address using To or CC and try again.

I was not using BCC, just trying to send an email. My other ones work, thus the idea that my email addresses don't match doesn't wash. My email address in the club Membership Management module IS in fact sguenthe@gmail.com, which is the address I was trying to send the email from. The address that I was using to send was:

vped - 1293730 @ toastmastersclubs . org

Now NOTE: I deliberately inserted the spaces in the address above as when I tried to actually use the REAL one, the Preview shows the message:

This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

which seems a bit goofy to me but, what do I know anyway.

So, there's the problem. Why can't I send an email to the VP Education (the REAL address to send it to, which is in the Membership Management area is springdays 08 @ yahoo . com - again, spaces deliberately inserted) but can to the members, the officers, and the President?

Your VPE disabled their officer alias in their member profile, so no one can send to it. Talk to your VPE.
