Keep Getting Logged Out as Admin

I am the admin for club 4570.

In the past, when I would log in as the admin, I would stay logged in for a few days before having to log in again.

Today, I am logging in and I am getting logged out almost immediately. I am attempting to add new members, and I am getting a transfer data error because it says I am logged out. I had just logged in 15 seconds before.

I am also the webmaster for club 7366 and the issue doesn't seem to be happening with that club website.

Tried both suggestions. Still having the same issue.

Plus, it appears that I am having the same issue with the other website as well.

It seems to be a little sporadic. Sometimes it will keep me logged in for a few minutes, other times it is only a few seconds. When I log in again, sometimes it logs me in on the first attempt, sometimes I have to try twice before it logs me in.

Also, not sure how long this support forum site allows you to stay logged in, but I had to log in again just now to reply to this post.

Try now. We did a change yesterday to improve our security, but it may have worked against us. (I just undid the change.)

You are accessing from your company network, correct? (probably from behind a company proxy)

It appears to be working now.

I reloaded both sites and it showed that I was logged in as the admin from my work earlier this morning. I made some changes and updates to both sites, and closed them down without logging out.

When I go back to the site it shows that I am still logged in as the administrator.

"Yes" I do access the club websites from work.

Thanks!

I would like to have your permission to contact you in the future when I do some updates on the authentication scheme.

We still need to improve the authentication scheme a bit, and the fact that you accessing on a company network and you have had some issues means getting you authenticated could be a good test case in the future when I do an update to the authentication scheme.

There is no one size fits all approach for authentication. We try to use cookies for storing the login information on users' computers, but not every user wants to fiddle with cookies, even when we politely ask for them to configure their cookies. But alternative approaches sometimes do not work either as your situation clearly indicates.
