Hello,
Some background to my request:
My group uses a combination of excel macros and man-power to set the agenda. We used this website at one time with great success; but due to different user skill levels and various missing features we just can't use the site. "missing features" are specific to our group and would not be beneficial to the site as a whole (for instance we use a database that has holiday schedules for users and availability of rooms. Non-toastmasters can reserve the room or assign a user to a meeting). So the group is considering moving from excel to a custom database / webapplication which would basically be the functional equivalent of this site. Since this site already does 95% of what we want, I'd rather try to work with the site. Perhaps I could bridge this gap by creating a web-bot that would scrape agenda data off the site and submit user roles. I'd rather not go that route either - if the website changes then the bot breaks and now I'm maintaining a bot that is maintaining a website... that is just silly.

So I wanted to see if it would be possible to request set of webservices and a rss feed. Ideally allowing only the admin user to do the following:
  • Get the agendas
  • Get the list of users
  • Edit and/or create an agenda
  • Edit and/or create an role
  • Edit and/or create a user

Thank you

Sorry, no can do. The minute we publish an interface we are locked into it. As the agenda system will be revised in the next year, there is no way I am going to publish an interface to it (even if we had one that would be suitable to publish).

Looking forward to the new agenda revision, I hope at least there will be the RSS feed for Meetings and Roles Signed Up.

This information is low security/confidentiality risk, and will empower clubs with capable programmers to extend the strengths of FTH2.
