Admin unable to update member profile emails

Hi,

I'm having issues updating member's emails. They were inputed incorrectly, and I need to change them.

When I navigate to admin console/membership management/ and I select the member I want to update, and input the correct email. When I click save, I get the following message:

You have errors in your form below. Please scroll down and correct the following:
You are no longer logged in. Please log in again.

I've logged out and logged in, and it still doesn't work.

The check box "If this is checked, your club admin can edit your member profile for you." is checked, and it still doesn't work.

What am I doing wrong? Screen shot included

Thanks!

You may be having an issue with cookie settings. Your login status is saved in cookie files on your computer. If the cookie cannot be saved (or was never saved), you will be logged out.

See: support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/cookie-settings

It doesn't seem that that's this issue, as my browser is set to save cookies, as detailed here:

www.wikihow.com/Enable-Cookies-in-Your-Internet-Web-Browser

Any other reason this might be happening?

That will also happen if someone else logs in as the admin when you are logged in as the admin. This is a case that the system will only store one session key for the admin... so if someone else logs in as the admin when you are logged in, the session key saved in the db will be updated to a different value than yours (for them) and you will get logged out as a result.

This is why we (the FTH Ambassadors) will sometimes accidentally log each other out when we are troubleshooting a website.

Jane Atkinson has suggested storing more than one admin session key in the db to better support multiple admin logins, but I have not yet gotten around to supporting that. Adding the Access Settings tab to allow officer access to the admin console was something I did to cut down on the need to share the admin password and limit this sort of thing from happening. (But it still can happen if someone else logs in as the admin while you are logged in.)

Also, you may want to try just doing a reload via the link at the bottom of the screen on the off chance you are running old javascript.

I was the only person that had admin credentials, and have the latest java installed.
At any rate, I tried again, and now it works. Not sure why it didn't before

Thanks Steve/everyone.
