We have an agenda for January 30 with lots of custom roles – and that agenda was created by another member of our club... not me like usual.

Members have been signing up for roles for a couple of weeks. Sometime in the past day or two (?) the roles have been reset to "Sign Up". Is it possible that me or someone else in the club did some kind of wholesale reset without realizing it? I received the various notification emails when members signed up – but didn't received any notifications of roles being removed.

I just noticed there is one person signed up – she added herself around 6:50 PM ET yesterday. The member managing that meeting confirms that the role assignments were there yesterday afternoon.

UPDATE/resolution:
I asked the person managing the meeting for details. She said the role assignments were there. She edited the agenda to change the descriptions of some roles – saved – and the role assignments went away.

I think I can see what happened now. The person who created the agenda gave the lead item (not a member sign up role) the same title as the 4 sign-up slots that followed. Everything worked fine until she edited the agenda... and I'm guessing the "no member" assignment of the lead item overwrote all the equally-named member signup roles.

I just tested with a new blank agenda... using roles with the same name... and got the same behavior. I'm all set. Sorry for the alarm bells!
