Our VP of Education recently set up a mentor assignment and did not select the box beside "Send Assignment Notification Email(s)" as she had already communicated to both the mentee and mentor.
When she saved the assignment, however, an email was sent to the mentor and mentee and herself. She was not expecting any email to be sent, nor would I based on her not checking the box.
Is there an issue here or is this intended functionality?
