I followed the GoDaddy guide as best as I could and it appears to match what the guide specified which includes:
  1. A-Record for the domain
  2. A-Record for Mail
  3. MX-Record for Mail

See the attached screenshot.

Do I need to add records for the old site in the DNS of the new site? Any other ideas?

Ok, have you tested your email w/ the domain? Simplest way is to just send an email to an officer alias (e.g., your officer alias).

It looks ok to me based on your post, but GoDaddy keeps changing their website around, so I cannot be sure if our user doc for them is current or not, so I always advise testing.

The online tools I use still do not show the A record for mail... could just be a propagation delay. That is why I am asking if you have tested the email.

When I made the switch, emails the VPE@businessandprofessionaltoastmasters.org was working.

MXTOOLBOX.COM seems to be picking up the A record for mail
mxtoolbox.com/SuperTool.aspx?action=a%3a...ers.org&run=toolpage

Any thoughts?
