Thank you!!! :) I have an email exchange with the developer of the code module that caused the error... he has some ideas I will look into.

It is special characters ("wide characters") that are screwing up the code module in this case... (using a new code module for DKIM email security feature)

I see a couple of likely suspects in the forwarded email... The hyphen in the subject looks like it is being converted to a special hyphen character code and it looks like the space in the phone number in the email signature of the forwarded email are getting encoded:
Akhob =E2=80=93 Las Vegas, Nevada - Atlas Obscura
702-553-7165 <(702)%20553-7165> cell

As a test, see if you can over type the same subject in the forwarded email and the phone number in the forwarded email signature to force it to use regular typed characters instead of the special encoded ones, then send it again. If we are lucky, you will get rid of the special "lookalike" encoded characters that way.

In any case, this issue means I am going to have to make sure we flush out special characters from the DKIM module in the future.

I did as you asked, and there did appear to be hidden characters in the phone number. However, typing over them didn't work, nor did deleting them. In the end, I just retyped the entire email to get it out the door.

It does seem like it would have something to do with the new code module, because our VPM has sent many, many emails before without any trouble.
