1) you need to read the error messages when they flash up at the top of the add box
Code:
Email (irashad@gmail.com) is already in use for someone on the Prospects tab.

2) that person is already in your prospect list, you can just move them to your member list.

Keep in mind that you may have your email and contact forms configured to automatically enter information from the Contact Us form in MM for you. This person probably contacted your club at some point via Contact Us.

This feature is a time savings feature so you do not need to enter information for someone who has already entered their information.
