Need SSL certificate for club #3362 with domain name melbournetoastmasters.com

Hello,
My club Melbourne Toastmasters #3362 has a custom domain name: melbournetoastmasters.com
Now with the enforced https access to FTH2 we need a certificate to allow people to access our website without
receiving the invalid certificate warning message due to our domain name not matching the default naming standard. Can you set this up for us ?

Thank you, Stephen Linsdell

melbournetoastmasters.com is not setup correctly please have the domain setup as per the docs located here.

support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/dns-settings-overview

the class A record for melbournetoastmasters.com is missing
the MX records are incorrect remove the extra mx

Once the domain is setup correct FTH will automatically generate a certificate for the domain

Remember that you can always access your website via your club number as an alternative:

3362.toastmastersclubs.org

That will always work because we already have a wildcard cert for the toastmastersclubs.org domain. (courtesy of Brian)

Hello, I added the A record and removed the two excess MX records yesterday. Is there something else that needs to be done?

Thanks,

Remove the domain name from the Basic Settings tab in Admin Console, click the Save button, wait a few minutes, then insert the domain name back in Basic Settings, and click Save again.

If you got it right, this trick should fool the system into thinking you just added the new domain name and it will produce the SSL cert for you within a few minutes.

Reason: The system only creates SSL certs for domain names that have changed or are newly added in the Admin Console.

I removed the domain name pressed save then entered melbournetoastmasters.com and pressed save. I wasn't sure what would happen next so I waited a while and then tried www.melbournetoastmasters.com and got the same invalid security message. I went back in to the Admin console and saw that the custom domain name field said www.melbournetoastmasters.com which wasn't what I had typed originally. Should the www prefix be there or not?
Anyway I blanked out the custom domain name again and retyped just melbournetoastmasters.com and pressed save and got the following error: Data Transfer Error Javascript function=StdAdminSaveBtnClick status=error, error=internal server error. Please notify us about this at support.toastmastersclubs.org Would you like to reload this website form the server? OK / Cancel
I pressed OK and then got sent to www.toastmastersclubs.org/welcome/?0RU5 so I have gone backwards in problem resolution it appears. I reaccessed the system using the 3362...... URL and can still get in but if I try to type something into the custom domain field I again get the javascript error and end up at www.toastmastersclubs.org/welcome/?0RU5 .
Please help.
Thanks Stephen
