But it's not members-only content. It's marked for public access as it has been for months since I put it there. It was publicly accessible until yesterday. The settings haven't changed. iframes should work anywhere. You have iframes in the website template everywhere. Removing it has been my last resort and I hope someone can help me restore it successfully.

I don't understand why my previously publicly accessible files are no longer publicly accessible. And now I've realised they include our newsletters from the archive custom page, not just the iframe slideshow on the homepage, which I've temporarily replaced with an embedded object. On the file manager, all those files are unlocked. So why do I always get prompted to sign in as a member? I've disabled all member-related operations since we're only using the website for PR, but not effect. What to do?!

Ugggh...
So lets please calm down and back up a bit.
First, if you removed something, I have no way to identify what caused the issue. What files are you trying to access?
The error message was triggered by an attempt to access content that the system thinks is members only.
(It was trying to show a member login...hence, the member data fetch.)

Thanks, Steve. I probably won't resign as VPPR yet. I just followed Brian's solution, which is to remove anything causing trouble. Firstly, I've saved the slideshow iframe code in the members-only Test page. When it was on the homepage, it was showing a replica of the homepage, along with the members login window. All the photos in the slideshow are unlocked in the file manager. Secondly, if you look in the side menu under Newsletter Archive, clicking on the newsletter links prompts anyone to log in as a member. In the file manager, all those files are unlocked and the archive page is only listed for public access. You'll also see that all these links work only when I'm logged in. Hope that helps.

Hopefully, you made a copy of your original stuff.
Try putting it back in now... I made a small change on my end that affects the public/members only stuff.
BTW... all the style block stuff you have in your home page content may cause you problems in the future. We are likely going to change the UI framework we currently use in the future (the current one we use is basically at end of life), so anything related to styling or CSS may get impacted.

Thank you! All those hours I've wasted, on a weekend, too, and you fixed it in 2 seconds. I just knew it had to be from your end because I did not do anything, just minding my own business trying to avoid anything to do with Toastmasters anymore. So I forgive you, then.
Thanks for the dreadful warning, too.
Hopefully, I would have knocked enough sense into my head by then and realise I don't want or need to be a DTM, anyway.
Thanks heaps,
Carmen.
