You have made something very complex that should be simple.
There is no reason for any godaddy involvement, if you are doing multiple forwards STOP.
The first point of contact should be doing all forwarding to the final destination.

I confuse easy - often from ignorance. Won't email to addresses at our custom domain, which is hosted by Godaddy, touch Godaddy on the way way to you?
The email originator, Gravatate, was not able to confirm the source of the hinky response messages that they received for the missing messages. Since FTH is "not seeing" the traffic I assume it's not you issueing those messages. To me, then it's likely gotta be Godaddy. That's my next stop.
I'm gonna go back to a forum thread I saw a couple days ago about email issues that included a whole bunch of DNS specs for that fix. I only paid it half-a-mind since that problem seemed different than mine. In general FTH email address translation is working just fine, except for the ugly sender addresses for this originator.
Lemme look at the DNS for the domain at Godaddy and dialogue with Godaddy. Support to see what might be happening in their playground.

Your domain is setup correctly for using fth as the mail forwarder. Godaddy would not touch the emails in any way.
Once again I will need the IP address that gravatate.com uses to send email, without the IP I cannot do any other checking.

I'm gonna trust but verify on this one. Lemme see what I can find out from Godaddy - just in case.
I'm caught in the middle here. Gravatate Tech Support is balking at giving out their IP. Dunno why.
See if the attached materials are at all helpful until I can shake the IP loose from them.

P.S. After several tries I can't seem to get past the error message: "Failed to create attachment directory" on a small l*.pdf file uploading from my desktop. You may not have the attachment. (Chrome interface glitch?)

At this time the file upload to the forum is not working.
send the email from gravatate.com directly to your email address the originating email IP will be in the email header
