Typically, what I have noticed is that the database that is storing information for the support website may retain the past posts for a deleted username for a bit. If the username is used again, I believe it actually creates a new "instance" of the username (assumes a new user), so that past posts are not automatically connected to the new instance of the username. This why you may see some occurrences of a username in gray for past posts. My impression is that the database treats those as if they are for a different, now deleted user who just coincidentally has the same user name.
I am not sure that we can merge the old and new information at this point.

That's okay... The history is not important... just pointing out what happened.
Do I have to post something every so often to keep my account? I had logged in, or maybe I thought I did, several weeks ago to read up on how people were doing Paypal pages. I created a page similar to the Portland club you pointed to.

Brian manages the support Forums, so this would be a question for him.

If an account was not enabled or authorized by clicking the link in the signup response email the user id are removed on a regular basis. We get hundreds of fake signups every month and they need to cleaned out. Seems you got caught in the sweep.
