Default Meeting Description Amendment not showing up was created by Willee
I changed the default meeting description, clicked save and got message saying the change was successfully made BUT when I view the Agenda page the description hasn't changed. I've tried this several times but the change still doesn't show up. The changed text still remains in the Agenda module in the default meeting description portion of the Agenda dropdown list.
Where is the magic button?

Where did you change the meeting description?
Changes to the Agenda template do not affect existing agenda.
The agendas that did not change were they already existing?

Hi Brian,
I changed the global template in the administrators section using the dropdown list - Meeting Agenda Settings. I then changed the default meeting descriptions - "This will be the default description of the meeting that will print at the top of each meeting agenda and show on the website".
I didn't change the individual Agenda's that's available to members, I used the Admin Console and the dropdown list.
I've included two jpegs. the original text is file 381 and the revised text is 380 - which still shows up in my admin console but after clicking save - nothing gets amended on the Agenda page. Very strange unless I'm doing something wrong. But what?

ONLY NEW dated agendas created from the newly changed template will show the changes.
Existing dated agendas will not change when the template is changed, you have to change all existing dated agendas by hand one by one.

While you're about it, you might want to update to the current mission statement - the one you're using has been replaced.

Never would have figured that out on my own. Thanks for the quick reply. I've now made the changes and they appear on the agendas. We've just moved our club to the FTH site and we're still learning - there's a lot of benefits and functionality in the site and I feel like I just bought my first VCR - 100 features to use and we're only using play and record.
