We love the feature where prospects who check the box "to be included in emails about future meetings & events" are automatically added into Prospects tab of the Membership Management module and opted in. However, this fails when the prospect already exists in and may also fail for guests, which I haven't tested.
Nonetheless, there are some inconsistencies in wording between the Contact Us page for opting in and opt-in email, which most ignore as spam because it comes from server@toastmasters.org, not a real person, and the text is irrelevant, impersonal, generic, etc. Despite the different wording, both are two different ways to opt-in. We like the language above to "be included in emails about future meetings and events", so can that be used for the opt-in email to increase the rate of opting in?
