...after some looking, I think I figured it out...it was a new domain I registered, and I used our club email to register it, and didn't notice the verification email, so they suspended the domain on ability to modify name servers until it was verified.  So my name records are in the admin tool correctly, but they're not active because I'm not using their name servers.  I answered the verification email, so now just need to wait until it's reactivated.  I'm sure it will work once that's done.  Thx.

Rich,

There is nothing you need to do further on your end--you made the DNS changes you needed to make and they look fine.

However, I have to sort out a problem caused by a change originating at LetsEncrypt! (our HTTPS cert provider) that is preventing us from being able to create & renew free HTTPS certs at the moment.  We thought we had it sorted out, but we are still having issues as you are noticing.  Please bear with me as I try to figure out what we need to change to work around their change.   I have to get it resolved before we start having a lot of certs expiring.

Code:
[Mon Oct 11 18:15:52 2021 GMT] Domain List (2 domains) = qualfontoastmasters.org www.qualfontoastmasters.org [Mon Oct 11 18:15:53 2021 GMT] Could not load or generate the Let's Encrypt account key: SSL connection failed for acme-v02.api.letsencrypt.org: SSL connect attempt failed error:14090086:SSL routines:ssl3_get_server_certificate:certificate verify failed

Code:
No custom domain name found in database for entered information. Crypt::LE Module Version = 0.38 /etc/httpd/letsencrypt.key EXISTS. /etc/httpd/conf/ssl.key/qualfontoastmasters.org.key DOES NOT EXIST (This is a *problem*). /etc/httpd/conf/ssl.csr/qualfontoastmasters.org.csr DOES NOT EXIST (This is a *problem*). /etc/httpd/conf/ssl.crt/qualfontoastmasters.org.crt DOES NOT EXIST (This is a *problem*). /etc/httpd/conf.d/ssl_qualfontoastmasters.org_tld.conf DOES NOT EXIST (This is a *problem*).

I think I was able to get this sorted out and we seem to be able to create / renew HTTPS certs again.   I believe everything should be working fine now for your club website.    Please confirm.

Everything is working now.  It had actually saved the site already in Website Settings.  When I first tried it, it didn't work, so I tried saving it without the www but when it still didn't work, I tried a different browser and it was fine.  I think Firefox sometimes caches things like that oddly.  All is well.  Thanks much for your help.  The site is going to be a big help to this club.

If the HTTPS cert cannot be created, the routine deletes the site domain from the db so that the routine cannot be triggered again.
