Automatic emails for role assignments

Hello,
Is an automatic email sent out to members when they are assigned roles on the agenda by the Toastmaster, VP Education, or Administrator (only people with this ability under our club settings). I tested it with the Raconteurs club, and no one received emails when I assigned them roles for upcoming meetings. Is this a feature with the website and if so, how do I enable this feature for our members? 

Please read the documentation to ensure your site is setup the way you want. Emails are a configuration option.
 

Look for "Also notify affected members of role assignment changes made in the dated agenda editor." checkbox in the Agenda Settings / Templates module of the admin console.   It is a notification option.
