Member automatically moved to former member when group email sent

A "Not a Member" link was clicked in an email to request that Edija Saripova be moved to Former Member status in the website for club 2977, Cherry Creek Toastmasters Club.
Hello FTH
Cherry Creek TM again:
2977.toastmastersclubs.org/index.cgi?adm...NPqsZYpHVeaEiVg3jJhJ

Our VP Ed Edija Sarapova gets the email reply pasted below every time our club sends a group email. Even if she does not click on the link to remove her name, it does it for her. Moving her for Former Member status. I have moved her back to Member at least 4 times now.
Could not find the Not a Member trigger. Can you help? thanks Nancy Spurry DTM VP PR CCTM

If you clicked that link, then please also click the following link to confirm that your status should really be changed to Former Member status in the website:
urldefense.com/v3/__https://2977.toastma...Ms5NcLSaTX6DUuUNKNg$

If you did not click that link, then please just ignore or delete this email.
(You may also want to discuss disabling the "Not a Member" links with your club website admin or discourage your members from forwarding emails.)

Steve
this is becoming a huge problem. Edija Saripova is our VPE and she has no access to our club web site and cannot send or receive any emails regarding the club and most worrisome, cannot plan our speech contest on Jan 12.
every time I add her back as a member, the site moves her to Former Member. I have done this at least 8 times.
I have no idea how to fix this, but it is completely messing up our meetings and our ability to run a speech contest.
Can you please help us?

Not sure about Steve's holiday schedule (he's the expert on this topic) but in the mean time, poking around at this may have yielded something for you to look into;

I noticed the confirmation link in your original message starts with 'urldefense'. This is not coming from FTH and I think it is a spam strategy employed by Edija's email host. I'm not previously familiar with urldefense and some quick reading now gives me a hunch that its process may be inadvertently 'completing the loop' so to speak and sending the signal to FTH to move her to Former Members as if she had clicked the link herself. This strikes me as something that could happen for no reason other than Edjia receiving the FTH email containing hyperlinks that urldefense is designed to investigate.

Thank you. I have sent your reply to Edija to see if she can fix on her end. She is in financial services and they are extremely fussy about email security!

Please stop saving bad URL for your sites. Please remove all saved url and just use
2977.toastmastersclubs.org/

1) this url is after you have signed in as a site admin
2977.toastmastersclubs.org/index.cgi?adm...NPqsZYpHVeaEiVg3jJhJ

2) Your member is probably using a saved link to move them to former member ... SEE the words NotAMemberNow
