I submittted this request several years ago and didn't get a response. I am interested in learning how to apply and what the position entails.

Hi Debbie,

Thanks for your interest in an ambassadorship! I'm sorry your earlier request went unanswered.

Can I ask why you are interested in the role and what you see as your strengths?

Also, I took a quick look at the sites for
UGA Griffin Toastmasters (#7909521) and
Henry County Toastmasters (#2367) .
Are you the site admin for those clubs?

I have been a Toastmaster since 2002. I have had the VPE role 30 times and the VPPR role 12 times.  Those are my favorite roles.  I could not have been a VPE so many times if not for FTH. I have been the District 14 FTH training chair for the last several years - at least 6 or 7.  I am the Administrator for Henry County #2367 and help with the UGA Griffin Campus site. (The current VPPR is always the author but I'm there as guide - btw, Henry County has won the best website in the District for the past several years). Last year I trained on the following topics - VPPR introduction to FTH parts 1 & 2; FTH features; Membership Management;  using Agendas parts 1 & 2; Mentoring tools in FTH and other helpful tools; FTH scavenger hunt (find other FTH websites); Advanced techniques; and Changing of the Guard. This year we are planning something fun - a FTH home page makeover.  I will personally work with clubs to overhaul their website and show the before and after in training sessions with details about how to do it for your club. As I train, I find new features and am interested in continuing to build my skills. I'd like to be an ambassador to continue spreading the word about FTH - but I'm also interested in finding out what the ambassador role entails.
