Hi,

I am an assistant for building our website. When I click Public Download, a box can show the 3 items under it. I will put our web files under each one. Is it possible to do this? Please check my attachment.

If possible, how can I do this?

I appreciate your support and time.

Thank You.

Not like that, but what you can do is set up Virtual Folders such that when someone clicks on Public Downloads, the files appear grouped in folders. See this doc: support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/file-management

LuHou,

You cannot create sub-folders, just folders.

The name Public Downloads cannot be changed.

Actually, you can change the name of Public Downloads, but it involves a trick.

Here is what you do...

1. Click on Public Downloads. Copy the address from your browser address bar to the clipboard.
2. In Admin Console/Appearance tab, Hide the Public Downloads link.
3. In Admin Console/Custom Web Pages/Links, create a Custom Link. Make the title anything you want, but make the destination web page the address you copied in step #1.

That way, you have a different title in the menu, but it still goes to the Public Downloads.

Read about it here: support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/links-to-other-sites

Hi Steve and Roger,

Thank you for the support. I have another question. I loaded files into Public Download and Member Download. Is there a way only see member files when I login as member? Currently, when I logged in as a member, I see all files I loaded, including Guest folder, which we want it to be shown up only in Public Download.

I appreciate your support and time.

What you are seeing is as designed.

If you feel that you would like to see some type of configuration setting to control the display of folders in the members only download area, then I would recommend that you post an improvement suggestion in the improvement suggestions section of this forum. If you get enough reply posts in support of your post, we will take a look at adding it in the future when I get around to updating the file downloads area.
