 My VPM has been getting emails that are obviously spam. They are sent to vpm at questtoastmasters.com. She's forwarded several to me. She's afraid to login to our website as she runs an internet business and can't afford to have that affected. I told her not to worry, but she's taking the safe road.

Would you like the source code to one?

A couple of options are available:

1 - add the spam sender addresses to your email blacklist and use the new system blacklist option: see here for details support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/email-and-contact-forms
That will prevent repeat email from blacklisted addresses or domains

2 - in Member profile for VPM, check " Do not create a club officer email address for me". That will prevent any email from going to the VPM- alias (email addressed to officers will still get through, but can only be sent by club members). If this address is used for any particular purposes, you could replace it with a custom group alias e.g. "Membership". See support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/custom-groups

Marc, like Pam says, use your black list... that is what it is for. ;)

The reason #1 won't work is that the emails are coming from many different sources; she gets more than one a day. I've asked her to try #2 as she has prevented admin edits. I hope it works.

No, that will work because there is a "Is this SPAM?" link that is added to emails to publicly accessible FTH addresses. All she has to do is click the link at the bottom of the email, and the sender is added to the blacklist (simple)... It is intended to simplify black listing spammers. I have enabled it for your website email settings.
