Greetings,

There was a feature announcement with a tag that would link to our agendas and populate the next meeting date automatically.  I used this on our home page so I didn't have to update prior to each meeting when I was VPPR.  I left and someone took over and now that person left.  I'm not sure if she chose not to use the feature or if no longer works; however I am trying to set it up for them again and I can't find it anywhere in the documentation on the site.  I tried searching under multiple terms but apparently not the right ones.  Can someone share with me what the tag is if in fact it is still usable?

Also for some of those things that I know I saw previously, I used to try to save them on the club login screen, but they were too long to scroll through. Are they archived on here? If so can you share with me the link so I can bookmark it?  I was having no luck finding that either and prefer to not bother anyone if I don't have to.  Sorry.  :(

Thank you,
Carolyn Krachkowski

There is no way to save anything on the login screen so I do not know what you are referring to.
There is no announcement tag feature so again not sure what you are referring to.

I think you are maybe looking for the web page variables feature.

This was a metatag where I was able to put it on my home page and it automatically put the next meeting date based on the created agenda.  (I would assume that was what it fed from).    As an example, I had it set up on the home page to say "Join us at our next meeting on <whateverthiswas>" . I never had to go in and change the meeting date for our page as it would automatically change the date.  The only issue was that we met in the morning and it kept the date in there the entire day (which wasn't a big deal).

It was much like <fname> type thing to drop in when doing an email but it pulled in the next upcoming meeting date. Does that help explain it? I may be missing something that would tell you exactly what I'm asking for, but unfortunately I'm not sure what that is.

If there is a listing somewhere of the announcements/alerts that populate for when we login to our website as an admin, I would be able to find it as that is how I first found out this feature existed.  I believe it was more than a year ago when I saw it.

You seek the variables available in the Web Page Tools:

support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/web-page-tools

The specific variable you want is: nextmtgdate

Your club must be using the FTH agendas for the variable to obtain the date. See the doc link above for how to format the braces to use the variable on your home page.

Example on the home page of my club's site.

As for the admin announcements, see the bottom of this page to read about how they work:
