Hi from Montana.  I built a new website for Bitterroot Toastmasters (club #1539225) in 2013.  Lately (last 6 months or so) I have been having a very hard time formatting the page for the look I want.  I know the version of FTH code I used in 2013 is very old compared to your current version.  Plus, I like the look of your sample Chartered Club website very much.  My question:  What is the most efficient way to get the nice look of your sample club website even though I have a site now?  Thanks in advance.

There are a couple of ways to customize the look of an FTH home page beyond the standard layout. One of them is through the use of iframes and the other is to include a jpg of the page you want, built in an image or document editor.

The date a site is initially set up doesn't make it captive to the FTH code at that time. All FTH sites always have the current code. Occasionally a recent FTH update might require using the link called 'Click here to reload website from server' at the bottom of your site.

There are a few key areas of control for your site appearance. This page shows the elements common to all FTH site and how each club can choose whether or not to display them:

The entire document section called 'Adding content to you site' contains instructions for controlling your site appearance.

In your 'Site Administration' dialog box is a tab called 'Home Page'. The following document contains information that can be used to control the main body area of your home page appearance and content.

The basic layout of all FTH sites is common and clubs can control various things as described in the documents above. Can you give an example of an aspect of the FTH sample site you wish to duplicate? Screenshots are often valuable to help us see and understand what you seek.
