Other officers can have access to specific club website areas delegated to them.
Note that the "other officer" designation doesn't give the person access to Club Central.
Make sure that the new officers don't turn off "create alias for me" (if your club is using those) without discussing it first.
See https://support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/member-profile (Club officer email address, about half-way down the page)
If you are dealing with organisations or departments that are slooow to update new contacts, using an officer alias means you don't have to update every year (or whenever an officer leaves the club).
Internal housekeeping/access details
The Officer changeover checklist doc has a useful list. https://support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/officer-changeover-checklist
Make sure that Club Central is up to date
If the club contact details have changed, update them. See https://support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/updating-club-contact-on-toastmasters-international-site
If you have a custom domain
Make sure that the right person knows how to pay for the renewals and when the renewal date is. Also that the club still has access to the Registrar control panel in case anything needs to be changed. It's a good idea to record this info in the Registrar Information box at the bottom of the admin Basic Settings panel.
If the domain name isn't renewed on time, it will stop working.
