Contact Us email address

Can we have more than 3 spots for emails on the contact us email address?

Because TI uses the find a club email to notify of Pathways approvals needed and lots of clubs use the Contact Us email address, we find the need to want to add VPPR to the email for the find a club, but need President, VPED, and Secretary for base camp manager.

If you read the documentation you will see that when the email from basecamp is sent the contact email FTH automatically sends the email to the 3 basecamp managers.

Brian - thank you for replying! I’m not clear on your answer.
My experience is that Pathways sends a notification email when a level needs approval to the address listed as the club’s contact on ‘Find a Club’.
So that more than 1 person can get the notification email, it was suggested to use the email provided by FTH as the contact us email. This allows for 3 different people to get the notification.

This is using the email ‘contact@‘ in a way it wasn’t intended, but it helps solve an immediate issue. BUT this forces a club to have only the President, VP Educaiton, and Secretary on that email as they are the 3 base camp managers that have authority to approve. Lots of clubs would like their VPPR to respond to that email when it is used as intended from the ‘Find A Club’ website.

If FTH would/could allow more than 3 emails on the ‘contact@‘ this would help us serve both items.

Please make sure you are using the contact email address as listed on your website.

You can put any 3 officer you want as the club contact for the contact email address and anyone sending email to the contact email address the email will be routed to those individuals..

I said any email sent from basecamp to the contact email will go to the 3 basecamp managers President, VPEd, Secretary

Thank you again for taking the time to reply - I don’t think I’m stating my request correctly. I’m not asking ‘how to’ I’m asking for an enhancement from FTH. I want it to do something it currently doesn’t do. I’d like to be able to put more than 3 address in the contact email to help facilitate the dual uses of that email address.

What I am describing is how the contact email works, and we will not be changing it. Toastmasters International has designated the President, VPEd, Secretary as the basecamp managers, no other members TI userid will allow them to do the basecamp manger functions,

The contact email is working exactly as it required to.
